This is a short update on happenings at the club.

Ross and Mike were the winners of the Thursday night Autumn Pairs - well done. Mike another pen for the bag of pens and Mike and Ross you are such  great club supporters. Thanks

Jacqui and Dianne won the Junior / Novice section at the Taradale Bridge Club tournament on Sunday 5 May. Well done

This is what we do on a final night of a series on Tuesday night. This was started by Linstead when he started as a co-convenor with Marie. Usually it was Linstead's famous sausage rolls but this week we really went upmarket. Linstead you have set the scene now and we all appreciate what you started and long may it last.

Other things to share

CONSTITUTION

I have done lots of work drafting our club rules and the Constitution to comply with the 2022 Act. We now need either a person to peer review what I have done or a couple of people to work together to refine what I have done so far. Are you able to help?

RAFFLE TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR FULLERTON TEAMS EVENT

The draw will be made on Monday 27th May during Monday afternoon play. Tickets will be available until the raffles is drawn. Again thanks to Ron for his support.

CHARITY TOURNAMENT

The gift baskets are looking great but we can still receive more toiletries for Women’s Refuge. The baskets will be handed on at the Charity Tournament on Matariki day – 28 June.
